Concern Concern has been expressed that there may be inconsistent interpretation and application of the Forest Plan.

Situation/
Background

In 1997 after the Forest Plan was finalized, the Forest provided a comprehensive training package to help guide interpretation and implementation of the Plan. The comprehensive training promoted consistency and efficiency across the Forest. Since 1997, employee transfers and retirements have contributed to the potential for inconsistent interpretation and implementation of the Forest Plan.

The training package used in 1997 is not current. Additionally, Forest Plan related guidance is not centrally located in a manner that is readily available to all employees.
